GABE

I did not have a very good night last night. I went to bed at like 12:50 AM because of this kid that will NOT leave me alone. I kept telling him I needed to go to bed but noooo. So anyway. I went to bed late and then was again awoken at 2:45 AM to what sounded like the curtain of time being ripped, or heavens garbage truck, or the collapsing of a building. Lights were flashed in my eyes and I realized I had heard thunder. A greater boom I had never before heard. It was intense. Lights were flashing litterally every second, some multiple times in a second. Lightening. My entire room would light up and shake with each deafening boom and blinding flash. I got out of bed and opened my blinds a bit more to make sure I was not experiencing the end of the world. Lightening bolt after lightening bolt streaked past my window, making me wince and leaving me temporarily blinded. They were so stinking bright and all over the sky and the world was shaking but no rain. It was a little odd. My first lightening storm.
Today was probably the most stressful primary teaching day so far. I was teaching about Samson so I put it into story mode starting with Once upon a time. That was the only thing I added. I didnt change the story or the principles but by the end the kids started arguing with me, saying it wasnt true and I made it up because I said once upon a time. One girl said, "My mom told me if it starts with once upon a time then it's a fairy tale and isnt true." Another said, "You're lying because you're wearing green." It was annoying and I felt super attacked...by 10 year olds. And there was a nonmember visiter and they were yelling at me saying I was lying to them! Guys!! GEESH!
I feel bad for this one kid in my class. Gabe. The other girls (only one other boy and he's never there. His mom is the regular teacher and SHES never there.)are sooo mean to him. He was a bit of a speech impediment and says things that the only response possible is, "Yeeaah, Gabe." They may not realize, but I see his face. Every snicker he thinks is pointed at him, every eye roll in his direction. It makes me sick because I TOTALLY know how he feels!!! So what if he's a little strange. He will make the world more interesting! So what if he stands waay too close to me. He's a loving kid! I want him to not come to church one day so I can scold the other kids. Make them feel like the scum of the earth for how they're treating him. Make them feel how he feels. How I felt. Gah!! Kids are soo mean.

Daba Dee Dabba Die

I actually did things today. I got to sleep in for the first time in what seemed like forever!! I woke up at about 8 but GOT up at about 10! I do that a lot. My body will not let me sleep very long but when I do wake up I'll still somewhat tired, so I lay there thinking and sometimes having little mini dreams even though i'm still mostly conscious. (I've gotten some of my best story ideas that way.)We cleaned the house fairly quickly and then went out to our pool to swim for a little bit. Well, hour or so. I like swimming. I do. But...I HATE getting unready to swim and then getting ready after. Guys don't understand the hassel it is to go swimming for girls. One thing on my bucket list is to accidentally fall into water with my clothes on and everything. But then I think about how my makeup will run and i'll look like the creature from the black lagoon when i come up. So maybe i'd like it to happen on that one day when I'm wearing water proof makeup. Which I never do...gah. Hmmm...now that I think about it there are a lot of things on my bucket list that involve the substance known as water. Like turn into a mermaid.
So I got out of the pool and laid out in the sun to dry. When i came in the best thing ever happened! I found I had gotten sun burned!!!! YAY! and no I am not being sarcastic. Yeah it hurts but that's temporary. It always turns into tan afterwards and I enjoy looking like a Cali girl only with more brains. and clothes.
We went to the movie Knight and Day. It was pretty funny and action packed. I enjoyed it. Afterwards I wanted to drive really fast and turn sharpely and reverse fast and such and such. I also had a strange and sudden urge to ride on a motorcycle and shoot bad guys...hmm...yeeah.
After the movie my day has been pretty uneventful (except for my brother who was driving a motorcycle illegally with his wife behind him had bike trouble. Let's put UP the kickstand. HAHA!). Right now...it's emotionally unpleasant (I have bad spells) but I'll get throught it like I got through all the others. Would like to talk...but who? I need to get me a pen pal. Preferably a stranger so I can say things i normally would never say. Any takers?

White Vans and Kung Fu

Nothing's happened. So I shall make something up.
Okay, so today I woke up 3 minutes before we had to leave for work but I still managed to curl my hair. I'm amazing I know. Then when I got to work everyone started running up to me and giving me high fives and such. At first I thought it was because my hair looked so awesome. But when I finally asked someone it turned out I had been selected to go up against the president of all experts in a guitar hero tournament. I knew there was no way he'd win. No one can defeat me. So I challenged him. And won. Of course.
And then as I was walking to my car to go home, 3 strange men in dark sweatshirts ran out and grabbed me! I tried to fight back but their kung fu was strong. They tied my wrists and put a cloth bag over my head and dragged me into a white van that had pulled up beside us. I felt the twists and turns as we drove and was able to decypher that they had taken me to an underground village. They yanked me out of the van and dragged me uphill somewhere. After they pulled off the bag, I took in my surroundings. Before me lay a small child, writhing in agony on the hard ground. His face was dirty and pale and his eyes were pleading, begging me to help him. My kidnappers pushed my towards him so I crawled over and took his head in my hands.
"What is it child? What is wrong? What have they done to you?" The young boy shook his head. "Nothing, lady. I...I.." He then lifted his finger, wincing in pain. The poor boy was slipping away. I peered closely at his index finger and gasped in horror!! Stuck under his skin was a piece of wood from some unknown source. A sliver! (DUN DUN DUN!) Acting swiftly, I pulled out my handy dandy tweazers from my back pocket, my village audience gasping and holding each other. Slowly but surely, I grabbed the sliver with my tweazers and pulled. The young boy wimpered once and it was done, the sliver between my extra metal fingers. Suddenly, every man, woman, and child in the underground village, including my kidnappers, jumped and cheered and raised me high above their heads. "We knew you could do it!" They shouted. "We knew you could save our boy!" After celebrating with a feast of spamango sushi, my kidnappers drove me back to their car, apologizing. They explained that they didn't think I would help them, that I would think the boy an unimportant waste of my time and they didnt know how to help him. I scolded them for thinking so. I would never think something so dreadful. When back at my car, the kidnappers driving away, I sat on the step and reflected. Looking down, I saw a ten dollar bill. I grabbed it, drove to the store and bought myself a husband. The End.

(REAL DAY: On feet all day doing stupidness. Mom split toe skin last night while playing soccer barefoot. Feet ache. It's hot. My hands are sweaty and my computer is sticky. The end.)

The Life and Times of...

Okay okay. Yes, I am a slacker. But I'm blogging now and that's all that really matters. Hmmm...let's see, important things...well one of my best friends came home from his mission a little bit ago. It's been great to have him back, to be able to talk to him again. (Hi, Chris!;) He doesnt know whats good for him though. But that's why I'm here. BYUI!!!

We FINALLY got our pool set up. It's been flipping cold here which is crazy for flipping JULY!! I've only swam once and I'm still pretty white. Maybe this weekend I'll just lay out all day long and get me some of that Vitamin D. It's warm. I like the warm. The cold is...cold. Makes me all tense and what not.

I've been mostly just working this summer at Scentsy. Lately I've been constantly on my feet in a hot and stuffy warehouse doing the most menial of work. ZZZzzzZZZ but it pays freaking well and I am pretty much broke so I guess that's that. I'm pretty important there. ;) So important, in fact, that I will be going to the Scentsy Convention in Denver this summer. They need me and I'm going for free. And being paid. I'm actually not too excited though. I do not handle stress well and the idea of being there and working crazy a lot of hours trying to get everything to turn out okay and without flaw while my boss watches me closely is pretty much scaring me to death. I thought I would just be stuffing envelopes this summer! not actually...thinking! Have I said this before? I don't remember. Oh well.

So I am saving up for a laptop but I'm not sure what to get. My dad is a Mac fan but they just seem so confusing to me. I've had PC's all my life! Well PC computers. I've never OWNED a laptop...that worked. I've only used one. I just don't know if I'm mentally, physically, emotionally ready for a Mac. I don't know. Any suggestions? What do you people think?

I was looking at other people's blogs...my life is boring. I have nothing interesting to blog about. I am in a club. The My-Life-is-as-Exciting-as-a-Flickering-Light-in-a-Public-Bathroom club. My friend Chris once thought he was the president but that's bulhonky. He's always doing something. Therfore I am the President and he is merely my little secretary! MUAH HA HA HA!
My mouth hurts.
